Wow! I believe that we have successfully mitigated the data entry problems with JTA. We have a doublsided application that is entered into SMARTware which contains the required information and it is uploaded to JTA automatically. SMARTware is a combination of bar-coding and data entry. We have also programmed into SMARTware default answers for questions that are required, but are unused in our local area (co-enrollment, for example). We have been entering the SMARTware application for a number of years, so it's not really a change for our staff. We'll be testing the upload to the JTA system soon....hopefully it will go well.
